Hi, guys! I recently picked up and ordered a ton of new makeup and wanted to share it with you all. I will also be posting reviews of all the products in two weeks! Note: In this post, I am not bragging etc about these products, I am so thankful and blessed to be able to get them. I just want to share with fellow makeup lovers 🙂
tarte – Shape Tape Concealer in Light. $25.00 each, new product.*
I am probably most excited about this product. I’ve wanted to try it ever since it came out but never have because it is exclusive to Ulta and I think the price is a little cray cray.
tarte – Metallic Eyeshadow in Dark Seas. $14.00 each, new product.*
I got this so I could qualify for the “free gift” but honestly it is such a beautiful shadow, I’ve had my eyes on it for awhile and I am so happy I ended up purchasing it.
tarte – Free Gift! new product, not sold.*
Free with $35 purchase. Included a cosmetic sponge, a sample of Shape Tape and a makeup bag! I’m excited to try the sponge and who doesn’t want a makeup bag?
tarte – Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara (x2) $15.00 each, repurchase.
This mascara is the best mascara I have ever tried and I rarely use any other one. I was running low on it plus it was about to expire so I picked up some more! Normally retailing for $24.00 it was sold for $15.00 this week because of being a weekly wow. Because of a great deal I got one for myself and my mom, who also loooves this product.
Ulta – Butter Balm in Belle. $9.00 each, repurchase.*
Belle is one of my favorite shades to add on a nude lipstick or wear by itself, so while I was shopping with Ulta I had to pick one up!
IT Cosmetics – Celebration Foundation in Medium(x2). $17.50 each, repurchase.*
Ulta has a 21 Days of Beauty promotion going on right now where some products are half off and this was one of them! This foundation is great for a natural makeup day or for adding coverage over a liquid foundation. I purchased two for the regular price of one and I still can’t believe how good of a deal it was! I got one for myself and one for my mom, who also loves it.
Sephora – Flash Shipping $10.00, repurchase.*
Typically with Sephora.com, you spend $50 to get free shipping. If you don’t spend $5 then 5-day shipping is $5.95. However, if you enroll with flash (or have a VIB Rouge status) you get two-day shipping on all orders, no limits or minimum purchase. I purchased this last year and it expired a month or two ago and I had really missed it!
L’oréal – Total Cover Foundation in Classic Ivory. $10.99 each, new product.
One of my favorite makeup artists likes to mix this with the brands “Pro Glow” foundation so I thought I would try it out! With that being said I was so excited to try this out but I actually ended up with a disaster and returned it today. More will be explained in my follow-up review.
NYX – Micro Brow Pencil in Brunette. $9.99 each, new product.
I went into Target wanting to get my go-to brow pencil, Maybelline Micro Precise, however, they didn’t have my color in stock (or they recently became really good at hide and seek) so I went with this pencil. So far I am really happy with it and like it better than my usual brow pencil.
NYX – Matte Lip Cream in Monte Carlo (red, pink undertone). $6.49 each, different color.
When I was walking around this lip color really caught my eye as a beautiful, deep red. I swatched it on my hand after purchase and it doesn’t seem as dark as I originally thought but I am still looking forward to applying it and seeing how it wears/looks etc. I also love the formula of these creams, I’ve tried one or two shades before.
Wet N Wild – Contouring Palette in Dulce De Leche. $3.94 each, different color.
Typically I “contour” with bronzer just because it looks best, however, I wanted to try a “legitimate” contour product and went with this one. I have tried it before in the past but can’t recall what I thought about it.
Wet N Wild – Felt Tip Eyeliner in Black. $3.99 each, new product.
Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner in Tropper is my go-to eyeliner but it recently expired. While I love that eyeliner it’s so hard for me to pay $20 for it. I will probably end up getting over it and repurchasing it but for now, I am going to give this one a try!
Revlon – Photoready Eyeart in 050 Cobalt Crystal and 120 Midnight Glitz. $9.99 each, different colors.
Have you ever walked into a store just to get a drink and walk out spending $20? Me too. Walgreens had a “Buy Two Get One Free” so I got sucked in. I have one of these in a green shade and really enjoyed working with it so bought two more!
Coty – Airspun Loose Powder in Translucent. $7.99 each, new product.
I’ve had my eye on this powder for a long time and recently saw a fellow blogger mention it was better than Laura Mercier’s and had to get it. I also got it for free, because of the “Buy One Get One Free” deal mentioned above!
Neutrogena® – Oil-Free Moisture Combination Skin. $9.99 each, new purchase.
I love this brand and totally trust them. I usually use the oil-free SPF 15 one but wanted to try this one instead.
Rimmel London – Stay Matte Powder in 004. $3.99 each, new purchase.
Everyone and their grandmother knows what this product is and has it. However, I have never tried it and thought ‘why not’?
This was the first concealer I used when I was getting into makeup. I wasn’t a huge fan of it for under the eyes for some reason but always loved it for highlighting and priming the eyes. I want to give it another try and hopefully like it more.
Makeup Brush Bag in black. $11.88 each, new product.*
I’ve had my eye on this for awhile and decided to get it! I ended up only paying $0.01 because I had cashback on previous makeup purchases.
Facial Cleaners + Makeup Remover Towelettes. $1 each, repurchase and new product.
The cleaners look like an accident waiting to happen when using them for your face – which I won’t be trying – but I thought this would be great for washing brushes! I also got makeup remover towelettes that are really good and really inexpensive.
Sassy + Chic – Eyelash Curler and Cosmetic Wedges. $1 each, repurchase and new product.
I don’t curl my lashes but thought I would give it a go with this eyelash curler. I also was out of cosmetic wedges and wanted to try “baking” again.
Total products: 24
Total amount spent: $204.35. Honestly, this isn’t that bad! I was out/needed a lot of these and they will help me with school and this blog so it’s all worth it. Also, I got almost $20 of free makeup!
