Tutorial: Purple and Orange Halo Eye

Hi, guys! Today I’m doing a tutorial on this purple and orange halo eye. I really love how this turned out and will be wearing this more often. The contrast of the orange and purple is really pretty!

Step one: Prime the skin and eyes. Apply a mauve eyeshadow to your crease and blend upward.

Step two: Apply a grape eyeshadow to the inner and outer part of the lid, avoid the center. Clean up with concealer if needed. Also blend a darker grape upward, above the natural crease, and outward in the outer corner.

Step three: Apply the orange to the center of the eyelid and blend above the natural crease.

Step four: Apply the same eyeshadows in the same order to the lower lashline. Also, apply a mauve highlight to the inner corner.

Step five: Finish this look with mascara, eyebrows, foundation, etc.

Color corrector, applied to redness: NYX Color Correcting Palette, green.

Foundation: Wet N Wild Photo Focus in Nude Ivory.

Powder: Rimmel London – Stay Matte in 004 Sandstorm.

Concealer: Maybelline – Age Rewind in Light.

Loose powder: Coty – Airspun in Translucent.

Grape eyeshadow: Coastal Scents – Hot Pot – Deep Grape.

Deeper grape eyeshadow: Coastal Scents – Hot Pot – Edgy Eggplant.

Orange eyeshadow: Coastal Scents – Hot Pot – Bright Tangerine.

Mauve highlight: Make Up For Ever – I-544 Pink Granite.

Eyebrows: NYX – Micro Brow Pencil in Brunette.

Mascara: tarte – Lights, Camera, Lashes.

Contour and highlight: Wet N Wild – Contouring Palette in Dulce De Leche.

Blush: tarte – oasis (discontinued).

Lipstick: tarte – Set Sail.

Lip gloss 1: Too Faced – Milkshake.

Lip gloss 2: Ulta – Butter Balm Glossy in Belle.
