Anti Haul + Wishlist – Fall 2017

Hi, guys! I’ve seen a lot of these posts floating around about anti hauls and wishlists, I always like reading them so I wanted to do one!

ANTI HAUL:

Too Faced – Glitter POP! Peel-Off Eyeliner $20.00

I can’t be the only one who thinks this is so weird…

Why would you want your eyeliner to peel off? Why?

If you’re really into this try Revlon’s PhotoReady EyeArt. Glitter eyeliner on one side, cream shadow on the other. $6-$10, a variety of shades.

PAT McGRATH LABS – Mothership II Eyeshadow Palette $125.00

I love Pat McGrath and I think a lot of her makeup is oh so cool, but this is a pass. I love the palette shades and they look beautiful but I think the price tag is way too high. I’m sure the colors are amazing and there is a lot of innovative products in it, but I just think it’s too high. The sublime palette is pictured below.

Urban Decay – UD Troublemaker Mascara $24.00

I absolutely love the packaging and Urban Decay but I just don’t think this mascara lives up to the hype. I think there are better mascaras for much less.

tarte – Limited-Edition Buried Treasure Eyeshadow Palette – Rainforest of the Sea™ Collection $36.00

I love tarte, it’s probably my favorite makeup brand but I feel like they really missed the mark with this palette. All the colors look the same and the packaging is unique but just doesn’t seem practical. SEPHORA COLLECTION – Seeing Stars Eyeshadow Palette $24.00

Like the tarte palette mentioned above, I think the packaging is cute but impractical and you can get better palettes for the price.

Ciaté London – Mermaid Glow $32.00

I think it looks beautiful but the rainbow highlighter trend is pretty much over and this is just way too overpriced. I love Ciate’s liquid lipsticks but this is a hard pass.

Too Faced – Peaches and Cream Collection Prices vary.

I think this collection is cute and I’m sure it smells good but I think this is just a fad that will die down pretty soon. The picture below is of the Just Peachy palette.

WISHLIST:

SEPHORA COLLECTION – Cream Lip Stain Set $12.00

This lip set contains Sephora’s cream lip stains in shades Always Red, Vintage Rosewood, Nude Blush, and Blackberry Sorbet. I have Always Red and love it and the formula. Pigmented and so creamy! These sizes are really small but offer a variety of shades that are all beautiful. Also, these would be so easy to break up for stocking stuffers!

FARSÁLI – Rose Gold Elixir Mini $20.00

Sephora has recently rolled out a ton of favorite products in mini forms. I love minis! Beauty gurus everywhere love another product by Farsali, Unicorn Essence, which also came out in a mini. I personally would love to try the rose gold elixir, it has “24k gold for skin hydration and a visible glow”. Who doesn’t want that?

Hourglass – Ambient® Lighting Powder Mini $22.00

These powders are extremely popular, they add a beautiful glow to your makeup. The following (in blockquote) is from Sephora.com:

“Create the perfect illumination for your face with Hourglass Ambient® Lighting Powder. Infused with the innovative Photoluminescent Technology, each finishing powder captures, diffuses, and softens the look of the skin. The micron-size, color-correcting particles refract light and create transparent coverage, filtering out harsh light and refining the appearance of the skin”

Who doesn’t want that?! They recently came out in a mini size and I would love to try either color. Diffused Light is pictured below.

What’s on your wishlist? What aren’t you going to get this fall?

MAKE UP FOR EVER – Artist Face Color Mini Highlighter & Blush Duo $22.00

The Artist Face Color’s that just launched have been very popular so they launched a mini with two of the most flattering shades. I love more mauve blushes and the highlighter looks divine. Make Up For Ever is a great company and I don’t think anyone would regret this purchase.

Josie Maran – Pure Argan Duo $19.00

Josie Maran is very popular for her argan oil and other skincare products. I tried this duo last year and loved it, really hydrated my skin without making it greasy,  so I will certainly repurchase this. This is another item that would make a great stocking stuffer.

Smashbox – Drawn In. Decked Out. Shadow + Highlighting Palette Set $39.00

This includes Travel-Size Spotlight Palette in Pearl, Full-Size Cover Shot Eyeshadow Palette in Ablaze, Full-Size Limited Edition Cover Shot Eyeshadow Palette in Sultry. I’ve heard great things about the eyeshadow palettes and I’ve had my eye on “Ablaze” (red toned palette) for a while now. For $10.00 more, you get another full-size palette and a travel size palette. This is another item that would be great to break up and use as stocking stuffers. https://www.sephora.com/productimages/sku/s1996693-main-zoom.jpg

SEPHORA COLLECTION – Winter Magic Eyeshadow Palette $10.00

This is an extremely basic palette but I really have my eye on the shimmer shades that I think are beautiful.

COVER FX – Custom Enhancer Drops Set $42.00

The custom enhancer drops have been incredibly popular since they launched, I haven’t tried one yet but I would love to get this set and give them a go. They would be great on the body, to mix in a foundation and of course to use as highlighter.

tarte – Limited-Edition Posh Pout Quick Dry & Glossy Lip Set $36.00

8 lip paints in glossy and matte finished. I died. The variety of shades is good, I think everyone would love this. I received Birthday Suit in Sephora’s birthday gift and the formula is amazing! So creamy and pigmented and easy to apply. Also, this would be amazing for stocking stuffers!

tarte – Tartelette™ Flirt Eyeshadow Palette $23.00

I absolutely love the shades “Touch” and “Hotline”! tarte’s eyeshadows are always great and I would love to try this. This would be amazing for travel as well.

tarte – Limited-Edition Blush Bazaar Amazonian Clay Blush Palette $44.00

Of all the products on this list, this is definitely what I am most excited about. 10 of tarte’s deluxe highlighters and blushes, a $150 value. tarte has some of my favorite products and their blushes are some of my all-time favorites. I do think this packaging is a little bulky so I will probably put this in a magnetic palette.

Kat Von D – Saint & Sinner Eyeshadow Palette $62.00

This is a limited edition palette with 24 eyeshadows in a wide range of colors and finishes. A lot of people have said they wouldn’t get this because of the color range but I think it’s awesome and I personally would use all of these shadows. The possibilities of combinations are endless. I wish the palette was less bulky because it would take up a lot of space in my makeup bag but the packaging is beautiful. I also think it’s a bit expensive, something I would definitely need to save up for, so I will probably wait for it to go on sale or for a Sephora VIB sale.

What is on your wishlist this fall? What won’t you be getting?

  1. UHG I also think that the Too Faced peel off glitter eye liner is a stupid gimmicky idea. I mean, it’s just going to be a mess of peeling off prematurely.

I just bought that Tartelette Flirt eyeshadow palette and have done two looks with it recently, and it is up to par! Same blending quality and the shimmers are amazing. Touch is a really beautiful coppery orange. If you want to check out one of the looks I did it is on my insta @supernovarrh

I love this idea of grouping together anti-hauls and wishlists! Fun to read 🙂

  2. I feel the same about the too Faced peaches collection, but I still can’t help but want the foundation and the matte eyeshadow palette. 😫😫
