Halloween 2017: Lace Mask Tutorial

Hi, guys! Starting today I will be posting daily until the 31st! I am really excited for it and I can’t wait for you guys to see everything I have planned. Also, I am extremely happy and proud of how this turned out, I’ve only done one or two Halloween makeup looks.

Anyway, today I’ll be posting a tutorial on this lace mask. It’s pretty simple but is defiantly for intermediate artists as it’s done freehand, if you want to recreate this it will take an hour or so. Also, if you want to recreate this, it will help to google “mascarade masks” or “lace masks” to see examples.

Step one: Do full coverage makeup. Apply a full coverage foundation, concealer, brows, contour, bronze, highlight, etc. Just lay done a good base/canvas for the mask. Also, add a taupe/transition shade in your eye crease.

Step two: Stencil the mask out using a black creamy eyeliner. Take your time, make sharp lines, use a steady hand. Start in small sections.

Step three: Fill in the mask using a cream eyeliner. Then fill it in with black powder.

Step four: Take a bit of concealer, and blend out the edges where the mask would naturally have a shadow.

Step five: Add false lashes! This really brings the look together.
