Collab: Valentine’s Day Makeup – Red to Dark Brown Smokey Eye

Hi, guys! I hope you all are well. For today’s makeup look, I’m doing a collab with Beverly from beauty fever! She has a lovely beauty and lifestyle blog, so make sure to check it and her part of the collab out.

This is my first Valentine’s look for this year and I wanted to do something a bit different from the typical pink, bright, Valentine’s eye looks so I deiced to do this red to dark brown smokey eye. I really like this look and  I think this would look amazing for any date or night out! I have a few more looks planned which are going to be more bright and glittery, so keep an eye out for those! Let me know what you think of this look and what plans you have for Valentine’s Day in the comments! 🙂

Without further ado, here’s how to create the look.

TUTORIAL:

Step one: Using your index finger, apply matte or shimmery brick eyeshadow all over the lid, slightly above the crease. IMG_3601

Step two: Apply taupe eyeshadow to the crease. Blend as needed.

Step three: Apply a black eyeshadow to the crease and outer corner, then blend. Next, apply a brown eyeshadow over the black. Blend.

Step four: Apply a cream colored eyeshadow to the brow bone. Also, use the cream eyeshadow to soften/help blending the dark brown.

Step five: Next apply mascara and fill in your eyebrows. If desired, after applying concealer add dark brown eyeshadow to the outer half of the lower lash line and apply brick eyeshadow to the inner half of the lower lash line.

  1. Love, love, love! I can’t tell which Valentine’s Day makeup looks I like best, the really pink ones or the deep dark ones! 😍 My plans for V-Day are dinner and a movie! It’s our typical date, chill and low key! 😊 What’s your plans?

    1. Thank you so much! I agree with you, I love the bright, in your face Valentine’s looks but I love the vampy ones too. That sounds awesome! 🙂 Pretty much the same, Netflix and I are in a very committed relationship 😉
