Hi, guys! I hope you all had a great Valentine’s day! A few days ago I did a poll on Instagram stories asking when I should do a new Anti Haul + Wishlist and everyone said I should do it this week, so here we are! I love doing these so of course, I was happy to see that. I would like to say if you see something you like or want to get, please don’t be offended by me listing it as something I don’t like/want/etc. Let me know your thoughts on these products in the comments!
To me, this palette just looks like a shimmery, powdery mess. I do like some of the shades in the palette but I feel like it really needs a few matte shades. I won’t be purchasing it because it seems like a lower quality product and I don’t think I’d ever reach to it due to the shades.
tarte received a ton of backlash when they launched this foundation due to there being 3 or so shades for people darker than a summer tan and it seems like the formula for both the matte and hydration is kinda crappy. They’ve received horrible reviews. I was excited when I heard this foundation was coming out because I really enjoy shape tape concealer but now I want to stay clear of this foundation. I have a feeling they are going to revamp it or discontinue it soon.
I’ve never tried a palette from ABH and this definitely won’t be my first. I feel like a lot of the shades look very similar to another and this palette is just very basic to me.
This collection features an eyeshadow palette, highlighter and lipsticks just to name a few, all focused on the festival theme and unicorns. I will not pick up anything from this collection, it thinks it’s overpriced, gimmicky and just very unnecessary. Also, since when do festivals and unicorns go together? This collection is just very cheesy and it’s more about trends from two years ago instead of creating new, functional, beautiful makeup for everyone. It just seems like the majority of products launched by Too Faced tend to be gimmicky, nothing new and geared towards teenagers instead of everyone. It’s really disappointing because they are a brand I used to love.
The top items I would avoid would be:
I feel like this is just an obviously horrible idea. Bronzer and an opalescent highlighter in one, what a cringe moment. It seems like a patchy, glittery mess. This honestly leaves me speechless.
I’ve seen this a hundred times. The rainbow highlighter trend started almost two years and just about every brand has released their version of the original highlighter. I think everyone is over it.
If I bought anything from the collection it would be the eyeshadow palette, I do think there are some pretty shades but I think $42 USD is way overpriced and you can get shades like this for much, much less.
This collection is so beautiful and I really like Jeremy Scott but I’m really not a fan of this palette. I think the eyeshadow palette is way overpriced at $75 USD and looks like a beginner palette that you buy inexpensively so you have a lot of shades to work with. The packaging is way too bulky and just seems like a hassle to work with.
I’ve been reading so many good reviews about this on WordPress and I have to try it. The shade range is amazing and it’s only $7 USD! I plan on picking it up in early March and I will definitely do a review on it.
Makeup Revolution – Reloaded Palette in Newtrals 2 and Division
Just look at those! They look so beautiful. I’d like to pick up 2/4 of the Reloaded palettes, the shades Division and Newtrals 2. Newtrals 2 just looks like a warm tone heaven and I’m loving the red shades! I have really high hopes for that palette because I don’t have red shades like that and I’ve wanted them for so long.
Division is a rather random palette but in the best way possible. It reminds me of a palette ABH has out but at a lower price. I really love the colors and like Newtrals 2 palette, this has a lot of shades I don’t have. I’m going to Ulta in early March and I can’t wait to pick these up!
“What it does:
Get ready to rock smudgy, smoky, and effortlessly messy looks inspired by Billie Joe Armstrong’s signature rock ’n’ roll eyes. Kat Von D teamed up with her friend, the lead singer of Green Day, to create an anti-precision, ultra-blendable eye pencil. From live shows to music videos to the red carpet, Billie Joe has rocked his iconic look since the 1990s. Now, you can recreate it, too, with this super-limited collaboration.
Basket Case Anti-Precision Eyeliner glides on creamy, with plenty of playtime. That means you can build, blend, smudge, and smoke it out to achieve your desired look, all before it sets in place for unstoppable wear. All it takes is one swipe of this chubby pencil to deliver maxed-out, ultra-black pigment, making Basket Case the perfect tool for super-fast lining all around the eye. Leave it be or blend it out with your fingers—when it comes to “guyliner,” the messier the better.”
I mean, how great does that sound? This eyeliner has amazing reviews and it just looks like it would be a must-have for smokey eyes!
How gorgeous is that? I’ve heard so many good things about NYX’s glitters and this shade (Beauty Beam) is beyond beautiful so I really want to try it out. I recently purchased some of their regular glitters so I’ll be giving those a go then picking up one or two of these.
That’s it for my anti haul and wishlist! What are your thoughts? What is on your wishlist and what isn’t?
