I’m Back! Here’s What I’ve Been Up To…

Hi, guys!!!!! Sorry for the overuse of exclamation points, but I am so excited to be back. Yes, you read that right, I’m back! As many of you know, a few weeks ago I posted about taking a break. I really didn’t want to take a break but I am so glad that I did. I’ve missed blogging but I’m so happy I took a break, I needed it. Before I get too much farther into this post, I want to say a huge thank you. I received a lot of supportive comments and I really, really appreciate it. Here’s what I’ve been up to since my break…

School. Lots and lots of school.

My biggest reason for taking a break was wanting to complete my school course and get certified. And guess what? I’m one assignment away from that! I can’t believe that. I’ve worked really hard and I can’t wait to finish. I’m so close I can taste it! So I will probably finish that assignment and submit everything in the next few days, I should be certified by the end of April. Yay!

Scheduling/writing posts

I’ve been working on some new posts and improving my content. I have about a week of posts scheduled, which is a big deal for me.  I have a huge list of things I want to write about, mostly reviews. If there’s anything that you’d like to see me write about or a tutorial you’d like to see me do, please let me know! You can leave a comment or contact me.

Improving pictures

As far as improving my content, it’s mostly with pictures. I think I’m getting the hang of flatlays and Canva! I’ve started using a few backgrounds and I’m editing my pictures a bit, I think it makes a big difference. I’m also trying to make “Pinterest worthy” featured images, which is way harder than it sounds. Here’s an example of a ‘flatlay’ that you’ll see in my next post, compared to a past ‘flatlay’. I think it looks pretty good!

Personal life

As far as my personal life goes, I feel like I’ve made progress. I kind of have a feeling like I’ve done a lot but I’ve done nothing at the same time if that makes any sense. I think I’m just too hard on myself. But I have got a lot of things done. One thing I’m excited about, I got new glasses! Three pairs to be exact. They’re the same style just in different colors.

I quite like them, I think they really suit me. They’re a lot different from the pair I was wearing before. I bought them from an online store that I love, and I will be doing a review on that brand/these glasses soon!

A few days ago I went to the dentist and found out I need to have most of my wisdom teeth removed. I’m a bit scared about it but I’m just trying to remind myself it’s a really minor surgery that will prevent problems in the future. On the bright side, I didn’t have any cavities, yay!
