Sunflower Inspired Makeup Tutorial

Hi, guys! A few weeks ago I was out shopping and out of the corner of my eye I noticed these really, really beautiful sunflowers for sale. They were just so pretty and happy! Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers so I just had to buy them. When I got home and put them in a vase, over the next few days I felt like they brought a lot of happiness and joy to my house. Which may sound weird, they are just flowers, but they were so beautiful. IMG_5343Anyway, when I do my makeup I sit at the kitchen table, and these flowers were in the middle of the table. They really inspired me to play more with yellow eyeshadow, hence this look was born! I’ve worn this look a few times, I really love it and I get a lot of compliments on it. I hope you guys like it and without further ado, here’s the tutorial!

Step one: Prime your eyelids.

Step two: Apply a matte yellow eyeshadow to the eyelid.

Step three: Apply a matte taupe eyeshadow onto the crease, blend well and upward.

Step four: Apply a matte medium brown eyeshadow onto the outer crease. Blend well but keep it focused to the outer crease.

Step five: Apply a yellow glitter to the inner half of the eyelid and tear duct. I used a highly pigmented glitter/metallic eyeshadow.

Step six: Finish off the look by adding your favorite mascara!
