Cinderella Inspired Makeup Tutorial |Collaboration

Hi, guys! Todays post is a collaboration with the lovely Sage Olivia. The theme of this collab is our favorite Disney movies. As you can tell from the title, I picked Cinderella. I’ve always loved Cinderella and without a doubt, it’s one of my favorite movies. For this look, I was really inspired by her gown. It’s a very beautiful gown that is white, blue and with a touch of shimmer.  I also took inspiration from her pink dress, seen below. I decided for the eyes to do a double eyeliner, black eyeliner closest to the lash line and then a glittery blue eyeliner just above the black. For my cheeks and lips, I went pretty pinky. I also put a bit of pink in the crease, to tie it all together. I hope you guys enjoy this tutorial!

TUTORIAL:

Step one: We are staring with the eyes. Prime your eyelids with your favorite eye primer or concealer.

Step two: Apply a matte peachy eyeshadow to the entire lid and the crease.

Step three: Apply a matte nude eyeshadow over the peach, only on the lid.

Step four: Apply a matte taupe eyeshadow to the crease, blend well. Apply a matte mauve eyeshadow to the crease, very softly. This adds a bit of pinkness to the look and ties the eyes in with the cheeks and lips.

Step five: Highlight the brow bone with a very light hand. Apply the same highlight to the inner corner, with a heavier hand.

Step six: Now comes the ‘hard’ part. Eyeliner. Twice. That might sound overwhelming but the second liner is very easy, and you can take as much time as you need on the first liner. Using a black liquid eyeliner or a black gel eyeliner, apply the eyeliner very close to the lash line. Wing it out. If you have any mistakes on the wing, dampen a cotton bud to correct it.

If you have trouble with eyeliner, try eyeshadow! It should be easier. Also, this video might be helpful Perfect Eyeliner for Everyone – pixiwoo.

Step seven: Time for the second liner. Using a blue metallic eyeshadow, apply that above the black eyeliner. Wing it out. At this point, it will look something like this.

Patience is really important for this look. It took me 5-10 minutes, many cotton buds and countless retouches.

Step eight (optional): Apply a clear, glitter eyeliner onto the blue. This gives the look an extra pizazz.

The base:  For this look, I went with a medium coverage with a slightly dewy finish. On the cheeks, I did a soft touch of bronzer and a good amount of pink blush. I also did a bit of highlighter to my cheekbones, down my nose, and on my cupid’s bow. For the lips, I wanted to go glossy and pink, it really suited this look. Ta-da! You have achieved the Cinderella-inspired makeup look.
