July 2018 Favorites and Makeup Breakup

Hey guys! Welcome to the blog and this months favorite. I know that people always say this in monthly favorites, but gee has this month flown by. Where the heck has Summer gone? I’m already looking forward to the holidays and blogmas. I also really love seeing the new school year supplies out. Something about office supplies just makes me happy.

On a side note, today is my one year blogiversary. A huge thank you to anyone who has ever read my blog, liked or commented, followed me or shown support in any way. I can’t thank you guys enough. I would like to say a special thank you to Makeup by Erin, kittyp0p, marebare71234, Rebecca Allatt, ZoBeautie and Blushy Darling, they have commented the most and have been extremely supportive.

Make-Up Desginory – Eye Colors in Honeysuckle, Apricot, Taupe, and Espresso.

I absolutely love these eyeshadows. They are so buttery, creamy, blendable and pigmented. They are so easy to work with and I need to pick up more ASAP. Taupe is my favorite shade. I recommend trying these to anyone, they are some of the best shadows I’ve ever worked with.

Review: Make-Up Designory Leading Lady Set Review

L’Oréal – Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation in 101 Classic Ivory

This foundation is awesome. It’s matte but it’s not drying. It’s long-wearing but it doesn’t get cakey.  It’s medium coverage but buildable to full. It can be full coverage and not feel like you just caked your face. It’s awesome. Not sure about the 24-hour claim, but it lasts ages and still looks good. I think they really need to work on the shade range but besides that, it’s a really great foundation. If you have dry skin I would stay away from this, because I do find it can emphasize dry spots.

Physicians Formula – Butter Bronzer Murumuru Butter Bronzer in Bronzer

This bronzer is probably the most popular drugstore bronzer and for good reason. This bronzer is fabulous. It gives a really natural, sunkissed look. It has just the right amount of pigment and is so blendable. Also, it smells amazing. I thought this might break me out due to the fragrance but it hasn’t, but if it does I will let you guys know.

That being said, I hate the packaging. It is so bulky and excessive.

Ulta sells this for $14.99USD but it’s on Amazon right now for around $9 USD.

BECCA – Shimmering Skin Perfector® Pressed Highlighter in Champagne Pop

This highlighter is extremely popular and it is pretty awesome. It has a really beautiful undertone, it is very creamy, buildable and blendable. This highlight can be subtle or blinding. This makes a great eyeshadow too. It’s really good and worth trying if you haven’t already.

Ciaté London – Liquid Velvet™ – Moisturizing Matte Liquid Lipstick in Diva

Lately, I have been loving a red lip and this red is perfect. It’s a really pretty true red. The formula is pretty good, it is fairly long wearing and not as drying as most matte liquid lipsticks. This isn’t as long-wearing or transfer-proof as the average liquid lip, but it’s really easy to touch up so I don’t mind.

Top to bottom: 4 MUD eyeshadows, Bronzer, Highlighter, Ciate London Lipstick.
