Makeup Tutorial: Easy, Everyday Eyes #1

Hi, guys! Welcome to today’s post. Today, as you can tell from the title, is a tutorial for really simple eye makeup. It’s different than the typical day to day look but still really easy to do.

Step one: Prime your eyes with a matte shadow stick slightly darker than your skin tone. Blend on the lid and just above the crease.

Step two: Apply a matte, dark brown shadow stick or eyeliner to the lash line. Blend the edges, keeping most of the color at the lash line. Avoid applying the dark brown to the inner lash line, this will close the eyes off/make them look smaller.

Step three: Apply a matte, taupe eyeshadow in the crease. Blend well. Blend into the outer corner, so the dark brown and the taupe are seamless.

Step four: Apply an orange eyeshadow with gold reflects to the remaining, empty lid space.

Step five: Top off the dark brown with a matte, dark brown eyeshadow if needed (I did.). Apply a gold, shimmery shadow to the inner corner.

Step six: Apply the matte, dark brown eyeshadow to the outer lower lash line. Apply the orange eyeshadow to the middle of the lower lash line. Apply the gold to the inner, lower lash line. Finish with mascara.
